Being a lecturer taught me that understanding something is not enough; we also need to explain it in a structure others can understand.
The same principle applies in systems projects. Users do not live inside source code. They live inside workflows, rules, needs, and everyday problems. My role is to translate that world into a system that makes sense.
That is where my academic and practical technology experience meet.
