Why I Always Start with the Problem, Not the Technology

The longer I work with systems and institutions, the clearer it becomes that software is not always the first answer.

When someone comes with a request to “build an application,” my first question is not which framework to use. I want to understand what problem is actually happening.

Teaching, developing websites, maintaining systems, and supporting institutions have shown me the same pattern: technology works well when needs, processes, data, and users are understood first.

That is why I have become increasingly interested in systems analysis and digital transformation. The quality of a solution is not determined by how complicated the technology is, but by how accurately it solves a real problem.
